getting a photo
Reference photos are very important and reflect in the final painting so it's really important to get a decent one! I can't paint from blurred photos so they need to be crisp and clear and ideally at eye level as this works best. If its for a surprise try looking on their social media page as every proud pet owner would have posted a pic of their beloved.
